About the Job:

We are looking to hire an Experienced DevOps Engineer to work alongside cross-functional teams to automate processes, build and maintain infrastructure, and ensure the smooth delivery of software. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipeline, supporting cloud infrastructure, and utilizing Kubernetes, Azure, and automation tools to streamline development and deployment processes. 


Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS) to support containerized applications, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.  
  • Leverage IaC tools such as Terraform, Helm, Flux(GitOps), and Git source control to manage and deploy Azure resources and Kubernetes configurations.  
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications, automating build, testing, and deployment to improve efficiency and reduce errors.  
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks ensuring consistent operations and improved workflows.  
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions in Kubernetes and Azure environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor to ensure system reliability and performance.  
  • Integrate security best practices within Azure and Kubernetes environments, including role-based access control (RBAC) and network policies.  
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Security Specialists, QA, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. 
  • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical resources to ensure continuity and resiliency.  


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience with Microsoft Azure in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong experience in Kubernetes, specifically with AKS, Flux, Helm, Terraform, and container management best practices.  
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks and manage resources effectively.  
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure resources and DevOps tools for efficient deployment and management.  
  • Basic NoSQL database knowledge (Mongo preferred) for data retrieval and troubleshooting, foundational networking skills (e.g., understanding of DNS, VPNs, load balancing, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies), and security best practices in a cloud environment.  


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Flux or Argo for GitOps and continuous delivery. 
  • Golang knowledge for backend service development (C# is a primary language). 
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for performance metrics and alerts. 
  • Experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Application Insights). 
  • Experience in managing Windows Server environments, including maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting.  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) and Entra ID for managing authentication and identity access on Azure. 


Position Details:

  • Position Type: Full-Time / Exempt
  • Travel: Some travel may be required.


Compensation:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $110,000 - $136,000 based on experience and location.
